This year, Mikana celebrates an important milestone — 10 years of action, dialogue, and bridge-building between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
To honour this collective journey, we are launching MAWASAK PIMOSETAN, which means “Let’s walk together” in Anishinabemowin. This campaign celebrates solidarity and the importance of continuing to move forward side by side, guided by Indigenous voices and knowledge.
With the support of our community, Mikana has offered awareness activities, youth programs, and free educational tools that open dialogue and transform perspectives. Together, let’s keep walking toward a future rooted in respect, understanding, and shared learning.
