“Decolonizing History” video clips

The documentary series “Decolonizing History” enters its second season, diving once again into the little-known history of Quebec and Canada through 11 impactful videos per season.

This series, hosted by Vanessa Destiné, Maïté Labrecque-Saganash, Youssef Shoufan and Aïcha Bastien N’Diaye, offers an innovative and critical perspective on events and characters often obscured by traditional narratives. Directed by Francis Papillon and Ky Vy Le Duc, each episode explores facets of history that reveal the diversity and complexity of the cultures that have shaped the territory. By giving a voice back to marginalized voices, “Decolonizing History” enables us to reassess and rethink our shared past, while opening up essential discussions on identity and collective memory.
