Systemic and sustainable changes
Support and commitment to better understand Indigenous realities and perspectives
Mikana is involved in relationships with sectors that wish to spark significant change in their environment in terms of decolonization and respect for the rights of Indigenous Peoples.
Mikana offers support to sectors that have basic notions of and training on the realities of Indigenous Peoples. Without claim to having all the answers or a universal recipe, members of the team, Ambassadors and/or collaborators can contribute to your processes and to finding possible solutions for decolonization and the fulfilment of the rights of Indigenous Peoples within your sector.
Because we value long-term impacts, Mikana is also involved in relational projects that bring about concrete tools and significant and sustainable changes in the fight against racism and discrimination against Indigenous Peoples.
Depending on the needs of the organization or institution, the relationship with Mikana can last from 2 to 3 years, or even longer to ensure a sustainable long-term impact.
