United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples

The document entitled “The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP)” sets out the fundamental rights of Indigenous Peoples around the world.

Developed in collaboration with the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse, Mikana, and Amnesty International, it aims to raise awareness and educate the public on the issues and rights of Indigenous peoples. The booklet explains the articles of the UNDRIP and their application, promoting respect, justice and equality for these communities. These collaborations are essential to support and promote the rights of Indigenous peoples in Quebec and elsewhere.
