As part of a Wapikoni mobile stopover in Montreal in 2015, Widia Larivière and Mélanie Lumsden made a short film to talk about prejudice in a humorous, heartfelt way.
Together with two pairs of sisters, Swaneige and Nahka Bertrand and Melissa and Bérénice Mollen Dupuis, we visit the stereotypes faced by these women in a testimony that provokes both laughter and reflection. The film offers an authentic window into the realities of Indigenous people, while denouncing preconceived ideas with a touch of irony.
